Set on Prokurative, one of Split’s most elegant 19th-century squares, Bajamonti brings three restaurants together in one venue: a dry-aged steakhouse, a signature pizzeria, and a Dalmatian fish restaurant, with a breakfast terrace, a full bar, and a 350-guest event space, offering sea views and a view of the Riva.

Our Story and Restaurant Atmosphere
Bajamonti takes its name from Antonio Bajamonti, one of Split’s most influential 19th-century mayors. In 1859 he built the biggest and most modern theatre in Dalmatia on this very spot, Teatro Bajamonti, and our restaurant carries that legacy forward as a new kind of theatre: a theatre of tastes.
the INTERIOR
The interior blends the scale of the original building with a contemporary restaurant design: high ceilings, warm lighting, and four dry-agers prominently visible from the entrance, and a long bar that anchors the main floor.
Outside, the terrace opens onto Prokurative and, beyond it, the sea. In the evenings the atmosphere shifts. The lights come down, the music comes up, and many nights the space turns into a small stage for smooth dj sets and live music.
